This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Overview

This website is purely informational. We only store your chosen language in a functional cookie for one year. We do not use analytics, tracking tools or social media plugins. Fonts, images and videos are served from our own hosting, not from third parties such as Google.

To select an initial language, we use the country information provided by our hosting service and your browser language. We do not request your precise location. You can change the language in the footer at any time.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the pages, Vercel processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, referrer URL, and browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and prevent abuse. We do not analyse this data ourselves.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel also processes data in the USA. Transfers are based on the standard contractual clauses in Vercel's data processing agreement and, where Vercel is certified, on the EU-U.S. or Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Contact by email

If you email us, for example via “Request a demo”, we process your details (name, email address and the content of your message) to answer your request. Our mailbox is operated by Proton AG, Route de la Galaise 32, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland.

Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is taking steps towards or performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Sharing of data

We do not sell data. We only share personal data with the service providers named here where this is necessary to run the website and to communicate, or where we are legally required to do so.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, to receive or transfer your data and, where the GDPR applies, to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please write to lukas@plonda.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU.

The website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections.
